What can we help you to find? Get answers to common questions about second opinions.

A second opinion of your medical diagnosis & management care plan is valuable. Most patients feel more assured and comfortable after the consult. Some patients have a change of diagnosis or even modify their management plan.

Seeking a second opinion is easy with Second Opinion Clinic. Simply register online with us and our concierge nurse will contact you to arrange an appointment.

Our concierge nurse will arrange for you to send your medical results (blood test, CT scan, MRI, histology report, x-ray) to us. We will curate the most appropriate specialist in 2OP panel for your personalised consult.

Our concierge nurse is happy to assist you at your convenience. If you are staying overseas, a virtual second opinion may be more convenient & cost-effective before you decide to travel for your care management in Singapore.  You can also request for a second opinion medical report regarding treatment options and prognosis.

We do not see patients who are seeking medical-legal consultation. Our medical specialist opinion is not admissible in court.

Our concierge nurse will contact you within 2-3 working days after your online registration. The consultation will be scheduled after the results are submitted and payment is completed.

Concierge healthcare is a new concept. A concierge nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who provides a personalised care to patients within her scope of practice. From triaging to curating best care, your concierge nurse will help greatly in your care journey. Our nurses go beyond the doctor’s office.

First, do no harm. Our panel specialist will review and recommend the most appropriate treatment. Sometimes, no treatment may be more beneficial if the harm of treatment outweighs the benefits.

Don’t worry as this provides an opportunity for you to understand more on your condition with the pros and cons of treatment options. You can then make a more informed decision on your health condition and treatment plan.

Second Opinion can be useful for major illness like cancer, an uncertain diagnosis, complex medical issues, pre-surgery consult or if you feel not at peace with your diagnosis or treatment plan. If you have unanswered questions on your treatment or worsening condition despite treatment, seeking a second opinion may be helpful too.

If your condition requires immediate treatment due to its life-threatening or emergency nature, it is NOT advisable to seek a second opinion as it may cause delays in receiving the necessary medical care.
